I live in Murrieta, California and am married to the love of my life. I am a Southern California native raised in San Diego county. I currently serve as the administrative associate pastor of Impact Church. We are a young church that was established as a plant in March of 2005. I used to work as an engineer before making a possibly permanent change to full time ministry. My goal with this blog is to first create a forum of communication for me, my family and my friends and second to create an avenue for my thoughts and ideas that I think are worth sharing.
Vitals: Escondido, CA native - Escondido High School class of 1996 - Graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering class of 2003 - Aspiring gardener, enthusiast of all things outdoors, particularly mountain biking, water sports and the occasional snow sport - I listen to any music with an affinity towards rock and have my limits with rap, R&B and anything else with a drum machine - I am a SciFi geek and own every Star Trek movie thanks to my grandma, I love Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (the movie), Indiana Jones, the first Matrix, The Never Ending Story (lots of memories), School of Rock, and at least a few others I can’t think of right now.

Christy won’t write something, so I will: Christy graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in nursing. She works at Sharp Memorial Hospital as an advanced clinician (nurse/teacher). She has a knack for photography and gardening even though she doesn’t do either of those things as often as I think she would like. She loves 80’s movies and sleeping in scandalously late on her days off. She is a great dog trainer, just come by and see what our dog Buster can do! She gets great joy and a good laugh from making Buster lay on the living room floor with her and cuddle.
