Career Change

I suspect that most people that read my blog probably also talk with me from time to time so I guess this won’t come as shocking news to anyone.  I am on the tail end of a career change.  As you well know I have spent the last few years at Impact Church as their executive administrator and associate pastor.  As you may not know before that time I was a mechanical engineer, I have a BSME degree from SDSU.  The season of my life when I had the privilege of pastoring has come to an end.  We are still attending members of Impact Church and I still carry some leadership roles but I have returned to the fast paced and ever-exciting world of engineering.  Don’t cry for me, this is an amazing time to be an engineer specializing in energy and ‘green’ buiding.  I am excited to get back to my chosen career path and look forward to what is coming up next around the corner.

There are tons of other things going on in the Woolsey sphere right now, but I am going to refrain from sharing just yet.  I am sure that there will be lots to talk about in the next month or two, I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

  1. I know it sounds corney—but I am proud of you/you guys!

  2. How has that transition been for you? digging your blog.

  3. Thanks Brewster, the transition has been good. I am seeing a new view of our church that I didn’t see before. God has been good to my family in this change too, provision started years ago in college.
