A Cool Project

As you well know if you read my blog regularly I am a big mt biking fan.  I don’t ride like a pro exactly but I can hold my own and like nothing better than riding my bike down a smooth single track as fast as I can.

On that note, Vince came to me a while back with an idea for a mt biking blog/website that would have technical how-to videos available as well as ride info etc.  He called it Dirt Cartel.  My part in it was going to be filming and producing video of our buddy/mechanic, Tim Donovan.  Tim is a great bicycle mechanic and has a really laid back energy about him.  He is a WEALTH of knowledge and our goal is to create a series of how-to videos for the every day mt biker that wants to take care of his own ride.  We have put the first two up on the DC website and I think they aren’t too bad for our first day of filming…considering I am no film student.

I can’t wait to start filming more, I have lots of ideas and would like to see this thing turn into a hub of info for DIY mt bike maintenance.
