Ride | A Noteworthy Day

Today’s ride was a good day on the mountain, despite some technical difficulties.  Here is a Google Earth file outlining our ride.  It was not our normal day for starters and it was not our normal time. We rode late because it was cool and none of us had appointments too early. It was foggy which made it cool but not cold. I must say my bike is muddier than I have ever seen it, there was lots of water in the air mixed with dust. Travis was having shifting problems with his loaner bike (aka my Trek) and bailed out.  I sheared a pin on my chain during a short, steep climb and Vince squashed a tire on a jump at the end.  All minor issues and will each be easily resolved.
