Christy and I are fortunate enough to say that we have our very own missionaries. Really, they are our very good friends. Bob used to be the pastor at the church where we attended when we got married. They have been in North Africa for the last few years working as cultural missionaries there. That part of the continent is Muslim and its not actually lawful to be there as a Christian missionary. So when people go to live there they are not doing anything different than they would do living in any neighborhood in America. They live, they work, they build relationships with people and they live distinctively in very close proximity to their neighbors. There is no Church as we know it there. Its an amazing experience they have had, when Bob gets his blog up and running I will be letting everyone know. Bob and Sue are here until the end of this week then they are off for Minnesota to spend time with their grandchildren and wait for God to move them to their next role in ministry.
